Chief Odusanya explained
“To us at Siemens, Nigeria is very important, not only because the country's telecom sector has been adjudged the fastest in the African continent but simply because we came around, saw it all and decided to stay and be part of the progressive success with regard to installation of over 60% of the current switching and transmission equipment in the nation's telecommunications fixed line network”,
MRS. Florence Seriki (MD/CEO Omatek Computers Ltd.)
Seriously to me, there is nowhere they wrote that a woman should be here or men should be there. It depends on individuality and what you set out to be in life. I think it's not really a gender thing; it depends on how hard you work. I have been in the IT industry for over sixteen years with all of them and we have been moving our companies forward individually. I don't see myself as a woman because if you look at yourself as a woman, and you think you want to act as a woman then you can't run a company and be successful. Women should begin to act and see themselves as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an enterprise, forget your gender and that is the real approach to it.
