The Editorial and creative approach have endeared
this magazine to all shades of opinion and interest,
NEWS: our news content is as rich,
we report news from every segment of telecom industry.
Telecom companies invites us for occasions, sends
us press releases and we go all out to ensure that
no news elude our interest. We write as it is and
we try to create a platform for reactionary defence
of issues and that is why we have been able to build
up a solid background of our news reporting.
TECHNOLOGY: We talk about technology
because we appreciate the fact that our people should
not just carry handsets all over the streets of Nigeria.
They should have the privilege, opportunity of appreciating
what technology dominates the telecom sector either
GSM, CDMA or otherwise around the world.
They understand the technology in their little way,
they should be able to make little contributions in
order to avoid heavy naivety of our people. We write
about things that can educate them better.
AUTHORITY MONITOR: is another segment
in the magazine that seems to appreciate the way the
telecom industry is being regulated. Series of regulations
in the industry is looked into.
The views of the House of representative and Senate
Committee on communications are highlighted. NCC,
Ministry of communications, all authorities that govern
the telecom sector are X-rayed so, to keep the general
public informed about their activities.
OPERATORS PHILANTROPHY: What we
try to do is to showcase what other areas the telecom
operators are getting involve in people apart from
the primary services they render. e.g, ECONET, MTN
and GLOBACOM and others in sport sponsorship, music
& arts. We write on it so that people will know
that those corporate organizations are socially responsible
to their operating environment.
EVALUATION: We evaluate all operators
and telecom companies. This we do by conducting survey
& research to analyze their activities and services
so that the operators can know what the public feels
about them and to give feed back to the public what
the operators feels about them. In this way, we have
been able to carry every participant along.
TELECOM ADVERTISING: in this segment,
all telecom advertising materials are subjected to
critical analysis. We are advertising professionals
and we appreciate the importance of advertising in
the telecom industry .
Banking industry is not left behind in our analysis.
What we do here is to showcase such banks that are
active in telecom financing, mobile banking. We showcase
them and celebrate them, we write about their products
that are relevant to telecom sector.
